Armenia’s Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan received the Canadian Ambassador to Armenia John Ronald Cruise on 18 October 2017. The meeting was aimed at discussing and furthering the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in defence field.
Defense Minister Sargsyan and the ambassador also expressed readiness to examine the possibilities of cooperation in the field of peacekeeping among other issues. The two stressed the importance of cooperating and setting the framework for international as well as regional issues relating to peace and security.
The Armenian Minister also mentioned plans for an official visit to Canada in the near future.
