This weekend the president of de facto Nagorno Karabakh, Bako Sahakyan, visited a military outpost on the central segment of the line-of-contact accompanied by Defence minister Karen Abrahamyan and the head of the Security Council, Arshavir Gharamyan.
An official statement provided by defence officials stated that the visit’s aim was to follow up on the conditions of troops and the military situation in its operational aspects. The exact area of that was visited was unspecified in the notification, nor were exact details on what was discussed.
