Polish Lubawa to produce $1,7 million in military equipment in Armenia

 

On 14 December 2017 Armenia’s Ministry of Defence signed a contract $1,7  million contract with the Polish Defence conglomerate Lubawa Group for the production and posterior supply to Armenia of military grade equipment.

Production will be carried out by Lubawa’s branch in Armenia with its headquarters located in Charentsavan. The company’s production includes camouflage types, tents, Kevlar vests and helmets, along with other safety equipment.

Lubawa has been operating since 2013, when it initially signed a pilot contract for military supplies. It is a joint venture, in which Lubawa S.A. holds 51% of shares, and the remaining company controlled by the Ministry of Defence of Armenia.
