Azerbaijan conducts live-fire exercise with anti-air missiles

On 01 April, Azerbaijan’s Air Defence Forces conducted live-fire exercises with anti-air missiles. The training involved what appear to be S-125 Pechora missiles with an approximate range of 15 km.

The event simulated a complete cycle of deployment from the main base of operations and manning the air defence units to locating and firing on air targets.  The event took place at a military training ground approximately 80 km from the capital Baku.  This is the second major anti-air defence training this year,  the first one took place, the first one took place on 24 February of this year, using similar air-defence e systems.
