A few pictures of Azerbaijan’s Czech-made RM-70 artillery system

In late 2017, Azerbaijan showed off for the first time military hardware produced and acquired from the Czech Republic. Later investigations showed that the RM-70 122mm multi-launch rockets and Dana 152mm self-propelled artillery systems were transferred via flights through Israel, bypassing direct arms exports from a European Union country to one of the warring sides of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijan.

The approximate range of the RM-70 is 20 km. The 40 rockets contained in one system can cover an area of up to 70 hectares during an artillery barrage.
