Turkish firm grants production for smart shooting range in Azerbaijan

Turkish defence contractor Target Group has granted production rights to several companies in Azerbaijan for the production of automated target systems to be used by the country’s military. The target system includes pop-up and pop-out targets managed by the location of miss and hit (LOMAH) software system, used to collect data on projectiles through special sensors, microphones and computerised means.

The  joint project is currently underway between  the Turkish Target Group, A2Z consulting firm and several other local companies. The initial project sees a majority proportion of the production done by local Azeri firms.
