Yesterday, news got out about a skirmish between Armenian and Azeri border troops on the internationally-recognised border between the two countries near. As a result of the incident, one Armenian solider was wounded and evacuated for treatment to a hospital in region of Noyemberian with a non-life threatening wounds to his right sholder.

Azeri State Border Service officials stated that the incident occurred on 1 October at 22.00 hours in the district of Gazakh as a result of an incursion attempt by the Armenian side. The latter side however, though the Defence ministry spokesperson, stated that no major events of the kind had taken place and made no mention of military operations.
