On 9 April, de facto Nagorno Karabakh (NK) defence officials headed by defence head Jalal Harutyunyan held consultations aimed at evaluating series of military matters. According to the official statement, the participants included high-level military commanders of the armed forces, staff officials, commanders of different military units, commissioners and military police among other officials. While some were present, others appeared to be participating by a video conference call as seen in the official photos.
Among the matters discussed were achievements, ongoing improvements and follow ups of military matters during the first four months of the year. As such, boosting combat-readiness was also on the agenda, as were the implementation and maintenance of military hardware and further unspecified developments on that regard.
