New troops sworn in at Azerbaijan’s Nakhichevan exclave garrison

Over 200 new troops were sworn in to start military service at the headquarters of Nakhichevan’s military garrison in Azerbaijan. The ceremony was headed by the commander of the Nakhichevan exclave’s garrision, Kerim Mustafayev,  as well as general-mayor Teymur Eyyubov of the local garrison.

No further details on the event were made public in the official statement from the country’s Defence Ministry, and while the event was covered in several local newspapers, all echoed the official statement with no further details(1, 2).
