Bulgaria supplies Armenia with anti-tank weapons

According to the latest information from the United Nations Register of Conventional Arms, Armenia received 500 RPG-22 handheld anti-tank rockets from Bulgaria this past year. No details on the deal were made extensively clarified at the time of writing, and little is known about bilateral arms trade between the two countries.

Additionally, at the time of writing, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute did not have the transaction registered on its database.

The United Nations source also mentioned that Bulgaria sold 1681 RPG-22s to the United Arab Emirates and 116 to the United States during the same year.
