On 17 November, Azerbaijan‘s President Aliyev and wife (Vice President) visited areas recently taken over during the war in Nagorno Karabkah near the border with Iran, notably, the Khodaafarin dam area with the old bridge (location on map here). From Iran, these photos were taken (possibly around 14.30 hours local time from a hill 450 m away) and posted on a Telegram channel associated with (officially or not) Iran’s IRGC. Others also posted them, not sure if the IRGC account the first.The photos from Iran were posted in Telegram stating that they were taken from a rifle sight of an Iranian border guard. Looks like an SVD Dragunov rifle sight.
