Military officials in Stepanakert announced major military exercises will take place with the participation of around 10.000 troops, over 400 technical vehicles, 200 artillery guns, 150 armoured vehicles and 50 anti-air defence systems. The event will be accompanied by life-fire drills.
Particular emphasis will be put on nocturnal operations and new combat tactics. The official report also mentioned that new weapon types and technology will be put to test during these exercises, particularly intelligence and guidance-based products.
An official video was released, but no further details on the event have been made public. In recent times, the military in Nagorno Karabakh has been implementing newly-developed products and new technologies during its military exercises according to military authorities.
