A Military Council hearing was called in Stepanakert today by the Defence ministry’s leadership headed by defence minister Maj Gen Karen Abrahamyan. High-ranking officials and officers from all over the military were present during the meeting, which, officially was aimed at addressing issues related to the organisation of personnel and units within the armed forces, an overview of mobilisation resources, as well as the combat readiness of troops
During the event, Maj Gen Abrahamyan highlighted that the continuing modernisation of the military is not possible without considering the above-mentioned issues, which should be put at the centre of attention.
Participating at the meeting were the minister’s deputies, heads of the different administrative offices, the heads of different military bases and units.
