The last week of January, starting the 27th, saw a series of drills carried out by the Azeri military in preparation for the new training period of the year. Different military units from undisclosed bases and installations took part in a week-long preparation drill aimed at evaluating the combat capacities of military hardware, command-order system and training techniques and material at different units, including militray training facilities.
Within the framework of the latter, an official notification showed further evaluations and inspections of military hardware, including what appear to be modernised T-90 battle tanks, Czech-produced RM-70 122mm multi-rocket launchers, as well as Russian-produced BM-30 Smerch multi-rocket launchers, constituting what probably is the Azeri Armed Forces heaviest militray hardware.
