Nagorno Karabakh military conducts simulations with armoured vehicles

According to an official statement from the de facto Nagorno Karabakh (NK) defence authorities, on 18 March armoured units of the armed forces participated in a series of drills at an undisclosed location aimed at applying theoretical knowledge obtained during training on the battlefield. The notification also highlighted that importance was put on the autonomous operations capacity of the units in addition to new targeting and firing tactics applied to a simulated adversary on the training ground.

While little information was provided as the military hardware used in the drills, photos show the participation of a T-72 tank and BMP-2 armoured personnel carrier. The participating possibly include both an armoured tank unit as well as a motorised infantry one.
